Guys,
My I-485 status changed to below. I did not receive any email from USCIS regarding the update. Is this normal?
Current Status: Card production ordered.
we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
I have not received the card as yet, any ideas as to how long it is going to take?

Your company has to obtain Labor Condition Application for H-1B & H-1B1 Non immigrants (LCA Form ETA-9035E) and File I-129 along with the supporting documents.

Friends,
I got LC and 140 approved in EB3. Now I refile my labor Cert in EB2 (IT manager) via PERM. Anybody has the same experience and know approximately processing time for this PERM to be approved. Thanks for any information.

My Question is - Am I eligible for Premium I-140 Processing since i am in my 6 th year of Stay.
Here is little background on the same (Technical Error)
I was on L1A from Sep 2003 to Sep 2005
First H1B from Oct 2005 to Sep 2008
In August 2008, I got Second H1 extension till Sep 2011 instead of Sep 2009.
My Labor got approved in this year in March also I got my Visa approved and I-94 Issued till Sep 2011.

I am on EAD. my priority date is Oct 2003 EB3.
I got new job that requires security clearance, so applied and got preliminary security clearance and started working as a contractor at Federal worksite.
Now i got letter from Department of homeland security saying i am not allowed to work at Federal worksite because my Adjustment of status is pending from Aug 2007, also saying Contact USCIS to get resolved or provide evidence i am in touch base with USCIS regards to this matter.
Since my priority date is not current, USCIS is not going to anything.
While applying this job i gave my EAD copy. They accepted Now i do know why i got this letter ?
IS there any one had same kind of situation?
Where or whom should I need communicate at USCIS? do they give any letter?

I was just referring to my first application for EAD filed by my lawyer (july filer)
For Q#12 - Date of last entry into the US - my lawyer had entered (05/10/2007) - the H1-B approval date in date of last entry in to US - is this because of the new I-94 attached to H1-B approval notice?
But the I-94 in the passport shows my actual physical entry into US after my last visit outside the country - 08/10/2006.
I have not traveled outside the country after renewing my H1-B.
Which date did you guys put - the actual date of physical entry or the I-94 start date after renewal of H1-B?

I tried a few times for scheduling infopass trying to get Boston which is closer to where I live. But I am getting Lawrence....I guess Boston office is flooded with appointments...Didn't know that Lawrence has a office too.
Will let you guys know if the meeting is of any help (which I doubt)...

Can someone please explain what is Form G-639 for . I googled on G-639 but it seems my case fits more on cases when this shouldn't be used. Please please someone please try to understand. All I have is my SSN and all I know is my I-140 is being filed and approved. I don't have the SRC number.

I'm curious if anyone has got multiple RFEs on their I-485 application. I had an EVL RFE last year and wonder about the chances they'll give that (or any other) RFEs again in future.
Any personal experiences?
By multiple RFE I don't mean many questions in 1 RFE letter. I mean USCIS sends you 1 RFE, receives reply and resumes the case and then at a later point in time sends another RFE on the same application.

I agree with the post above.
I think the best option he has is to speak with the CBP officer at the port of entry and explain him the situation: that he wanted to use automatic visa revalidation and by mistake he surrendered I 94. Hopefully he will issue a new I 94 for him. But more likely he will ask him to go to the consulate and get the new stamp.
What he should NOT do is: to enter on the attached I 94 on H1 visa extension approval (the reason is technical: usually the I 94 that comes attached with change of status has the SAME number as your old I 94 attached to passport; so for practical pusposes, he has surrender both his I 94s). If he now enters with the I94 attached with H1 approval, (and as that is already cancelled when he surrendered other I 94), he will be considered present illegally. This would have much worse consequencies than to wait in Torronto and get the visa stamped.

This is where the lawyer comes in. Or someone who has been through this can describe his experience.
As long as your resume and experience letters match you with the Labor, you are good. eb3 is less riskier than eb2.
For peace of mind, you can get a second opinion from another attorney by having him match your profile with the substituted Labor.

As of right now, retailers have no knowledge of this happening. Does not mean it's true or false, just the fact is retailers are not aware. As of the time of this posting.
