And you think this is the way for convincing law makers on our contributions to American society? Is it because of your bad language, the law makers should give your spouse, EAD?

I have a I131 (AP) renewal question. My first original AP was issued on Nov/2007. I understand that it expires in 1 year( I do not have the AP doc right in front of me right now). Also I traveled to Mexico in May 08 using AP and was stamped on AP as paroled until May 2009.
Is there a 120 day rule to file AP renewal (like the one for EAD)? Do I need to file for renewal of AP now (120 day before) or close to May 2009? I have filed for EAD renewal 1 month back and am still waiting for approval, will it cause any problems if I file for renewal while EAD renewal is pending?

The onus lies on you to do the needful not US Government or IV. I have known people who left their well established career to take care of their folks. You are looking for the solution to your problem on this message board, however you need not look this far. Enough said.

When you post a question, post it to the attention of Mr Andrew Miller. He is a immigration consultant who provides free advise on that forum and responds pretty fast.

If you had received a denial of your application for example not having the same designation/ different salary/different location etc... please contact and we would like to assist. This would also help us try solve the larger issue of restrictions on applicants during their greencard journey where they are bound with employers, salary, designation, narrow occupation field etc.

We need 2 ingredients to grab the attention.
1) Starpower addressing the rally. Someone like The google guys, Cisco CEO John Chambers, or Gov. Schwartzenegger.
2) A well attended rally with preferably a mix of affected foreign employees as well as many of their US colleagues.
If you guys can pull that off then, it will quite literally be a very big statement.

You can check your senator's website. There will be some information on how to contact them. I think usually, they have someone in their front office who takes care of this request.
I requested to expedite and i got an email last week saying the request was accepted and will get result within 14days.. its been already 10 days and so far nothing happened.
Did the email you received specifically say that your request has been accepted and you will know the decision within 30 days?
They did not accept my request.
Here is the email from USCIS on July 18th.
At that time I agree with them, I really had 43 more days.
Later on when I faxed in Aug few times, nothing happened.
The status of this service request is:
Service records show we are currently processing your application and your application is waiting to be placed with an Officer. You should receive an update within the next 30-45 days. This is the same time it would take to have it expedited, therefore it is not necessary to request expedite handling. Please be sure you are registered with the post office to receive mail at your current address. Contact us at the number listed below if you do not receive your document with in 30 days from delivery.

My I140 is pending at TSC from Apr 2007. No RFE. Called the CS and opened an SR in jan 08 and i got the standard reply. My Attorney opened another SR in May. Hoping to get some information on my case from TSC this time
I think all these processing times are unreal and who knows how they process these cases (may be GOD)
You are right , Its like a lottory now . I know a freind who applied in August 07got his 140 approved ...
How about forming a group whose dates are beyond processing times and send them to Ombudsman ... Problem with this is no one particaptes hoping next month my case will be approved ... I think only choice is praying to God so CIS can find our files

Folks,
We are planning to visit India in Nov 08 after three years. I would be using my AP to return after 4 weeks. My wife is planning to stay there for seven months and plans to return using AP. Based on what I see on this thread, seems like it would be very risky for my wife to use AP to re-enter after a seven month period.
I'm still working on H1B and my wife on H4 ( although she has an EAD, she doesnt work). We have H1B approval valid till March 09. My wife would be re-entering in June 09. I'm in the process of renewing my H1 and H4.
If my wife gets her H4 stamping then she can re-enter in June 09 using H4 visa. I plan to re-enter using AP in Nov 08.
I am also planning to consult my lawyer.
Would this work out? Gurus, pls. help

Transparent Government without any trace of corruption atleast in regular day-to-day life
Clean drinking water, un-interrupted power supply
Roads and neighborhoods without trash pile ups
Change of people's attitude that Govt should do everything for them, but without having to have pay taxes, fee etc.

just becoz u'r kid is not good in spellings.... it doesn't make it mandatory for some folks to be jealous in demeaning way...... maybe you feel bad that a 10 year old has better english vocabulary than you at 40..... whatever it is.... u'r not always in competition with u'r surroundings........ grow up and appreciate the effort & dedication that breaks human limits..... even if it is a 10 or 12 yr old.....
